Martin Awano is a New York–based filmmaker working at the intersection of documentary and art. He produces films across a range of formats including In the Studio, In the Gallery, In Conversation, and Silent Walkthrough for galleries such as Hauser & Wirth and White Cube.

He has filmed for PBS’s American Masters, Frontline, and Discovery. He is a Fulbright–National Geographic Semi-Finalist and a DOC NYC Video Consortium Storytelling Fellow.
