Martin Awano is a filmmaker based in New York. He is a DOC NYC Video Consortium Storytelling Fellow and a Fulbright-National Geographic Semi-Finalist. He has filmed for Discovery, Frontline, and PBS. He has held leadership positions in The Asian American Documentary Network, The Video Consortium, and The Filmshop’s Docshop.
